“I Have My Footage, What Now?”
Congratulations on your marriage! Let’s talk you through the process of turning your unedited footage from Lake Garda Weddings into a beautiful film of your day.
Here are the steps to follow:
Back up your footage. The last thing we want is for you to lose your footage in the post!
Send your footage to me at the following address:
James Stratford
8 Woodland Drive.
Wallasey,
Merseyside.
CH45 1ND.
If you feel comfortable uploading your footage to a Google Drive, OneDrive, DropBox or the like and sending me a link, I am more than happy to use this. The email address to use for sending me such links is mail@stratfordphoto.co.ukUse the form below to let me know you’ve sent over your footage so I’m expecting it and provide some details to guide my edit, including music choices.
I will send you the details for payment when I receive your email.
Your footage may appear washed out before it is edited. This is normal, don’t worry!
Your Unedited Footage
Your footage may appear to be washed out. That is normal for professionally-captured video. The reason for this is to allow the videographer to capture as much of the details in the scene as he can, from dark to bright. When I receive your footage, I will add the contrast and colour back into the footage. You can see how this works in the example video above.
A Note on Music
We can use any music you wish for your film, as long as the film is for your own private viewing. If you wish to upload the film to an online platform, we will need to use music we have the rights to use. Many platforms now automatically find copyrighted material and remove it.
I currently use a platform called Epidemic Sound to source original music that I can use in work without any rights issues. If you wish to do this, please go to http://epidemicsound.com and create a free account. You can then search their library and find music you’d like me to use.
